Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson shares a powerful journey from her family’s roots in segregation to her own historic confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court. Named “Ketanji Onyika” (“Lovely One”) by her aunt, she was raised by educator parents to embrace her heritage with pride. Determined from a young age to honor her legacy, she rose from student leader and oratory champion to magna cum laude Harvard graduate, all while finding her voice on stage and in activism.
