ROUND ISLAND, REVISITED

Just for fun, we’ll be returning to Round Island on June 14th for another small boat outing. Bring a hardshell or inflatable canoe, kayak, or rowboat or use one of our four loaners. New paddlers are advised to stay in the 10 acre inner pond, but more experienced paddlers can try navigating the mangrove lanes or circling Round Island itself. Please stay within your skill limits and for the safety of all, refrain from bumping, splashing or other horseplay. Everyone, of course, is required to wear a PFD (life jacket) to comply with UUFVB’s liability insurance. Please sign up outside Fellowship Hall. Since no outing is complete without lunch or dinner, please bring eating utensils for yourself and a covered dish to share. Bottled water and wine will be on the table.
