Lunch and Learn- How to Tie Knots

FEELING TWISTED? KNOT!

If you are a person whose hands are more accustomed to not trying than knot tying, we are offering you a Saturday morning chance to improve your skills.

In collaboration with the Adult Faith Development Committee, Jack Quinn, who attained the recognition of Eagle Scout, we will be hosting a Lunch & Learn seminar at 11 AM, on June 28 (Saturday) in Fellowship Hall.

You will learn how to tie 10 basic knots. This will be a brown bag lunch event, a BYOBB!

Please bring a 4-6 foot flexible piece of rope or borrow one from us.

You’ll learn to tie a square knot, a clove hitch, a taut line hitch, a bowline hitch, a sheet bend, a sheepshank, a timber hitch, a rope end whipping, two half hitches, and a rope storage trick.

Please email Eileen Hanley (ehanley61@gmail.com) to show your interest in attending.
