Are You Feeling Lost?

If so, support is now available. A new discussion group, Transitioning to UU, begins this January. This free, monthly drop-in discussion group—no registration required—is designed to help newcomers and longtime visitors feel more at home within the UUFVB community.

Led by UUFVB volunteers and sponsored by the Adult Faith Development Committee, the group meets on the first Sunday of each month from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Lobby near the elevator. The conversations will explore topics such as feeling disconnected, coming from a different religion, not feeling like you “fit in,” spirituality, understanding UUFVB practices, making friends and meaningful connections, expectations of members and “friends,” local services, and adjusting to life at UUFVB. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions. It’s important to note that Transitioning to UU is not a therapy group, not a social club, not a committee, and not confidential.
