Reverend Roger Butts, a UU minister and hospital/hospice chaplain, confronts death daily, which means he confronts life daily as well. He’ll tell stories about his life and ministry with the dead and dying, and the alive and living.

Reverend Roger Butts was ordained in the early 2000s at the Unitarian Church, Davenport. He has served congregations in North Carolina, Iowa, and Colorado, including, for a time, being the Spiritual Director in Residence at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in northern Colorado. His wife, Marta Fioriti, is the Executive Minister at Community Church in Vero Beach. So he lives now in Vero Beach! He has three young adult children and two black Labs. He believes humor and grace will save us all.
