Sisters in Spirit will be celebrating the Lunar New Year on Tuesday, February 17 at 7 PM in the UUFVB lobby! We will be playing a traditional Vietnamese game, Bầu cua cá cọp, and learning about the Vietnamese zodiac animals and elements.

Minnie Frye, a Vietnamese American and fellow UU, will be leading our very own Tết celebration. Minnie was born and raised in California near Little Saigon. Growing up assimilated in American ways, she didn’t fully learn the true customs of Vietnam until adulthood—and she continues to explore more each Lunar New Year.

Sisters in Spirit generally meets monthly. All women are welcome to attend once or every month. Invite a friend! There is no charge to attend, but a free-will offering will be taken.
