Potluck Dinner & Dance

February 27, 2026

at 5:30 p.m.

in the Fellowship Hall

Please bring a dish to share and your own table service so that we might be good stewards of our resources. Coffee and water will be available, but otherwise, please bring what you will be drinking. Also provided will be graceful and engaging folks to share food and conversation with.

Entertainment will be provided by the Ukuleles of UUFVB. They will be doing music for listening and music for dancing, so wear your dancing shoes. Please bring your own Ibuprofen and/or Tylenol, as we are not permitted to dispense drugs – just in case you dance with more enthusiasm than your joints remember they have.

If you enjoy the music at this event, please thank Larry Phillips and Laura Greendale, who purchased party music by the Ukuleles at last year’s auction. If you don’t enjoy the music, you may blame Larry and Laura. Be assured that there will be no music this evening of a vintage later than the 1990s and mostly significantly older, but that doesn’t mean you can’t “get down,” “boogie,” or “cut a rug,” depending on your own personal vintage.

Everyone always has a great time at these potluck dinners, and this time we have the best entertainment that Larry’s and Laura’s dollars could purchase at the annual auction.

Also, we need a big crowd, so that the Ukuleles can get one step closer to a big recording contract.

“Joy is exactly what’s happening, minus our opinion of it.”
