UUFVB’s off-campus small boat outing to Round Island State Park will be in bright sunshine on Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 AM.

On the off chance of rain, we will reschedule to May 17, the following Saturday.

Round Island offers ample parking, ramps, waterside walkways, hiking, bathrooms, and a generous sample of Florida’s bird life.

Bring your own canoe, kayak, or rowboat with you or borrow one from a friend.

Common sense and our liability insurance both dictate PFDs (life jackets) for small boat adventurers. No motors, please.

Serenity and appreciation of the quiet environment are our objectives.
