Join the Social Justice Committee in the sanctuary on Sunday, Jan. 21 following the service for a viewing of the documentary “Legalize Democracy.”  This 25 minute film is produced by Move to Amend, a coalition of hundreds of organizations and hundreds of thousands of individuals committed to social and economic justice, ending corporate rule, and building a vibrant democracy that is genuinely accountable to the people, not corporate interests. The group calls for an amendment to the US Constitution to unequivocally state that inalienable rights belong to human beings only, and that money is not a form of protected free speech under the First Amendment and can be regulated in political campaigns.

Discussion will follow the film and handouts will be available.  All are welcome to attend, so bring a friend or neighbor to the service and then attend the screening at 11:45 AM.
