Congregational Covenant

Public Forums

At the UUFVB Annual Meeting on April 13th, members will be asked to approve a new Congregational Covenant in which we make promises about how we want to treat each other.

The proposed Covenant includes the following:

• To keep humor, laughter, and joy in all we do.
• To listen to one another actively and with empathy.
• To celebrate our differences, remaining open to one another’s point of view.
• To treat one another with tenderness and compassion.

In the spirit of acceptance, if one falls out of this covenant, there is a path to restore right relationship.

The purpose of these forums is to provide a space to get information and ask questions from Committee members before the vote at the Annual Meeting.

Please join the Congregational Covenant Committee at the public forums to be held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM in Fellowship Hall on April 6th and 13th. See you there!
