Become a Member
Joining Our Congregation
We encourage visitors to think about becoming a member when they are ready. It is not a decision to be taken lightly. As a member, you can benefit from the many aspects of the Fellowship and the Fellowship benefits from your commitment. We consider ourselves a loving and open community.
Any person sixteen years of age or over who is in sympathy with the purpose of the Fellowship may become a member. The Membership Committee offers periodic “Introduction to UUFVB” and “Path to Membership” classes for those wanting to learn more about UUFVB. Those considering membership are encouraged to attend one, or both, of these classes. Then to become a member, you sign the Membership book and make a recorded financial contribution.
You are eligible to vote after you have been a member for 30 days. You will also receive UUWorld, a magazine from the UUA about current issues of Unitarian Universalism.
