Rabbi Michael Birnholz
“Tisha b’Av, a day of Jewish tragedy and mourning.”
I will be speaking on: How long do you spend in sadness, how much in nechemta (uplift)? And when do we bring the uplift to move us from loss? When do we observe a period of mourning to balance our joy?

Reverend Chuck McNatt
“I Can’t Understand My Brother.”
He’s a conservative with some real negative ideas, who also happens to be a person who most people really like, including me. I can’t talk politics with him, although he tries to bait me. It’s about the problem of trying to understand, not just the “other side,” but all those we “can’t understand.”

Reverend Carole Yorke
“Truth and Lies: Maybe the Big Bad Wolf Knows.”
What is truth, after all?

Reverend Crystal Bujol
“A Master’s Degree in the Here and Now and A Mistress’s Degree in the Hereafter.”
Watch your language. A Mind is a terrible thing to lose. Get an education. Go to college! Go to college! Go to college and get a degree! A degree of what? And what comes next. A Bachelor’s degree. Something I get if I do it before I get married? And then what? Then you can master it if it hasn’t gone out of style. Then What? If they will let you, you can get a good job, not equal … But, if not, you can always become someone’s mistress!
