We have a legacy of “Deeds not Creeds.”
Our work for a better world calls us to unexpected places as we harness love’s power to stop oppression. From grassroots community organizing to interfaith advocacy; in protest marches; and in homeless shelters, Unitarian Universalist’s put our faith into action.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Justice
The Social Justice Steering Committee strives to further the UUFVB mission of seeking justice for all by engaging in social justice actions including service, education, advocacy, and witness. These actions may be individual, committee, or congregational and may apply to local, state, national, or international issues.
The Social Justice Committee meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month (September through May) at 3 PM in the UUFVB Library.
