Quotes from Rev. Alexander’s Ministerial Packet
“I am a young and energetic 60 year old who is a long way from seeking retirement. My
recent successful completion of two, 30- day, 120 miles a day, charity cross-country bike rides
speak to my physical and emotional vitality. I feel at the top of my intellectual, spiritual, emotional
and physical game. I still delight in this calling of ministry, and believe my prior experiences
have prepared me to serve a new congregation with maturity, excitement, and care. I love the life
of the mind, the amazing dynamic that is a congregation, and the diverse and varied tasks and duties
of ministry. Every aspect of congregation life is important, and I am ready to provide
attentive, mission-based leadership to the congregation that is committed to serving our liberal
faith, both within the congregation and in the wider world and community.”
